Getting started with Clonie
The public plugin is being prepared. This page explains the product and its current availability.
Where can I install Clonie?
A public installation link is not available in this preview. Release and installation checks are still in progress.
What are galaxies, stars and planets?
A galaxy represents a connected folder. Folder stars and Markdown planets show the structure inside it.
What is a custom galaxy?
A separate folder for independent copies of material you choose. Clonie treats original source folders as read-only; copying does not change those originals.
What does Warp save?
Warp saves the selected snapshot for a destination. Saving it to Warp and placing a copy in that destination are separate actions.
Do I need an account?
Local reading, independent copies and custom edits need no Clonie account or connection to Clonie servers. You choose which folders the plugin may use. Your host's model service and file permissions are separate.
When does Clonie use Cloud?
Before a paid subscription, your document workflow stays local and does not query other galaxies. Cloud publishing requires a paid subscription. Visiting another galaxy also requires a published galaxy of your own.
How do I sign in to Clonie Cloud?
Use Google or GitHub on the sign-in page. Paid publishing and travel are still in preparation.
